Young student Andrew 17 from Scotland provided a stunning rendition of Stevie Wonder's hit "Lately" which left the judges in no doubt that the talented Scott should qualify for boot camp.
Simon Cowell commented that Andrew has a great voice and he received 100 percent yes vote from judge Simon.
Judge Cheryl Cole endorsed the panels view with a thousand per cent yes vote from her.
Andrew Merry has always wanted to be a singer since the age of 9 and has already had some impressive results in competitions with his superb voice. The X-Factor hopefull has been runner up in the British Junior Eurovision song contest and has raised over £40,000 with his efforts for charity.
Many fans think that Andy Merry could be the winner of the 2008 X-factor. His fine voice certainly puts him in the running to make the finals of the popular ITV talent show.
